What vaccinations does your pet require?
Each pet will have a wellness plan, which includes vaccinations and parasite prevention, that is specifically tailored based on their lifestyle and risk level. In general, we follow the World Small Animal Veterinary Association Vaccine Guidelines and are pleased to offer some vaccines every 3 years (certain exceptions apply).

Why is parasite prevention critical to your pet's wellness?
Those creepy crawly parasites are incredibly easy for your pet to pick up from the environment. In Calgary, we have a climate that fluctuates a great deal, which means that many common parasites (such as roundworms) are prevalent year round. Some parasites (such as ticks and mosquitoes) carry dangerous diseases that can be transmitted to your pet, including lyme disease and heartworm. For families with children especially, it is important to know that some parasites (such as the common roundworm and hookworm) can be transmitted to people.
