Remember, exotic animals are experts at hiding illness!
We recommend annual and new pet examinations for all exotic pets to ensure they are as healthy and happy as possible
Dr. Hilary Rondot
From a young age my love of animals has known no bounds. From cats and dogs, to birds, reptiles and rodents; I enjoy helping and interacting with them all! Seeing so many species that are all so different brings its own set of challenges as well the unique rewards of working with these fascinating creatures.
My love for exotics first showed itself while owning and caring for many in my younger years, including hamsters, parrots, snakes, lizards, and even a giant millipede! During my veterinary training I became a member of the Wildlife and Exotic Animal Medicine Society, including heading the falcon initiative. In my final year I gained more targeted practical experience with exotics experts, and after graduation I have continued to pursue additional continuing education and hands-on training to expand my knowledge base in this field. I have enjoyed using this foundation of knowledge to help exotic pet owners in the various communities I have served over the years and it has made my love for them grow even more.
I look forward to meeting your unique and special pet in the future!
